Bailey Bridge Engineering

Today in Mr Riley’s Science class we built miniature Bailey Bridges. Bailey Bridges are the bridges that the allied forces used in WW2 when the allied forces were retaking Europe and the Axis were destroying the bridges. They used bailey bridges because they were quick too build. We had 2 teams, each of half the class. The goal was to bridge the gap over two desks well enough for the smallest team member too walk over.

Here are some pictures of bailey bridges

Fish head dissection!!

Dissecting Bluenose fish heads!

today we are learning about adaptation. We learnt features about camels like their hump is full of fat and they burn it to make H2O or they can last 18 days with 100 litres of water.
